Flipivo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Flipivo is built so your data stays on your Mac.

No permissions

Flipivo asks for no Accessibility, Screen Recording, Automation, Full Disk Access or Input Monitoring permission, and installs no privileged helper. It uses only what macOS gives every app.

What Flipivo stores

Your modes, app state snapshots and the restore journal are saved in Flipivo’s own folder on your Mac (inside its App Store sandbox), and preferences in the app’s settings. Nothing is uploaded.

No screen capture

An app state snapshot keeps the names of your running apps, whether each was hidden, which was in front, and the size and position of their windows. Flipivo never captures what’s on your screen, window titles or window contents.

No analytics

There is no account, no analytics and no tracking in the app.

No network requests of its own

Flipivo is sold on the Mac App Store. It doesn’t contact our servers or anyone else’s: the free trial and the unlock are in-app purchases handled by Apple’s App Store, and updates come from the App Store. Nothing about your modes or your apps leaves your Mac.

Payments

Purchases, refunds and restoring purchases go through your Apple Account and the App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple tells the app only whether the trial or the unlock has been bought.

This website

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and served through Cloudflare, which may log basic request data such as IP addresses. It counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites. Nothing else is collected.
